Are you a fan of the HGTV show "House Hunters?"

The episode that aired Wednesday night featured a local couple and a familiar face on our show.

You may remember Mike Crisona. He represented the Special Olympics on News10NBC’s Roc City for an interview we did on a fundraiser called the "Polar Plunge."

The "House Hunters" crew came to Rochester to document his home buying process.

The couple looked at three homes before choosing one, but Crisona said the process was a little more involved than that.

"The way it works is basically we searched our home with a realtor probably for 20-25 houses on both the east and west side of Rochester, and then the actual show follows us as we narrow the search down to three homes, and we end up purchasing one of those homes you see on the show," said Crisona.

Crisona says he has settled into his new place. News10NBC is told the couple chose a home in Farmington because they liked being in the country and the big back yard.
