We want to take some time to remember a woman who dedicated more than 25 years of her life to making kids smile.
Judy Raymond of Hilton was one of our ESL Jefferson award winners in 2012. She volunteered her time as a clown named “Bumpkin” in hospitals, camps and at community walks. You could find her every week at Golisano Children's Hospital.
Judy passed away last week of complications of ALS. Her husband Roger says she was always thinking of others right to the end.
An activity board at the new Golisano Children's Hospital will be named after her. It will be called "Bumpkin's Corner."
Judy Raymond was 68.
