Its been 8 years since Pittsford Sutherland took home a sectional title and the 2006 group added a state title for good measure. Now the 2014 team is primed to make a similar run.

14 year head coach Dan Judd says, The chemistry's been really good, they share the ball fantastic, they get along great, so we've really had a nice even keeled year in terms of their emotional effort.

Starting Shooting Guard Elizabeth Greendyke says, the desire comes from wanting to do better for each other. We work so hard in practice; I think we work harder than any other team I've ever been on. We just have more desire to win.

Sutherland turned an 11-9 record from last season into a 19-1 record this year...and the knights know their 1 win away from history

Coach Judd’s Daughter Abigail Judd says, it’s just the product of how much work we've put into this year. We've really had a great season; it's just kind of one more step in that direction.

Greendyke added, winning a championship is really great and we're going to go after it, relentlessly.

Just 1 more game stands between the Knights and their 3rd sectional title in program history.
