Update: Man dies after being injured while skiing

A man is dead after an accident at Bristol Mountain.

Emergency personnel was called to Bristol Mountain Saturday morning at about 9:50 a.m. for a report of a skier down. When they arrived, they found 59-year-old Robert Parker suffering from cardiac arrest. He was transported to FF Thompson Hospital where he later died.

An autopsy determined Parker sustained multiple internal chest injuries caused from blunt force trauma from a fall or hitting an object. According to deputies Parker suffered a cervical spine fracture and cerebral anoxia.

Deputies say Parker's death is accidental in nature.
