March Madness got underway in Churchville Sunday, but this game was all for a good cause.

The Churchville-Chili Leo Club and the Churchville Lions went head to head inside the Churchville-Chili middle school gym Sunday afternoon.

The idea of this game is to raise money for two-year-old Kailee Kweicien, who is battling a form of muscle cancer, called Rhabdomyosarcoma.

Kailee's mom teaches at the school, her mom and dad both say despite Kailee's condition, she continues to be positive and energetic.

“She's truly been our hero through this, and just her demeanor every day is really rewarding and helps us get through it,” said Catherine and Dan Kweicien, Kailee's parents.

If you would like to help Kailee and her family, donations can be sent to the Churchville-Chili High School, attention Cyndy Taladay, LEO Club Advisor, 5786 Buffalo Rd. Churchville, NY 14428.
