Royal Caribbean named "autism friendly"

Created: 03/03/2014 1:47 PM WHEC.com

Royal Caribbean cruises have received a special designation and it's one that impacts any family traveling with someone who has autism.

The entire cruise line has been named "autism friendly" by the travel group, "Autism on the Seas".

The designation means all cruises will carry sensory-related toys and make modifications to activities to make them autism-friendly. Autism-friendly movies will also be available and each ship will offer priority boarding and dietary options for autistic passengers.
