It was a hero's homecoming Monday at the airport. Navy Lt. Matt Busse was reunited with his loved ones late Monday afternoon.

Busse had been deployed for the last seven months, but this return home was special. He had the chance to hold his two month old baby boy for the first time. The family says everyone is excited to be back together.

Lt. Matt Busse said, “To come back here and actually hold him, that's absolutely unbelievable. It felt great, it's great to finally meet him. Everybody else has met him.”

Busse was also joined by his wife, Kate and their two and half year old daughter.
