A few other local leaders are back in Rochester Monday night.
The Rochester Community Coalition met with state lawmakers to lobby for state aid for the city. The group says it's focused on providing funding to municipalities, child care, education, labor and non-profits.
News10NBC spoke with some members from the group this afternoon about some of the projects they're trying to get funded.
Sandy Parker, Rochester Business Alliance President, said, "Additional aim funding for the city of Rochester. Two centers of excellence. We pushed for expanded funding for child care. So very different, not just capital projects but things that will help the over all economy."
Parker says the group has gone to Albany to lobby for funding for the last 6 years..
