The College at Brockport is working to spread awareness about domestic abuse during the first day of the Clothesline Project campaign. The event starts Wednesday and runs through March 10th.

The campaign is an international event created for survivors of domestic and partner abuse. During the event, participants can create t-shirts representing their feelings or experiences regarding partner abuse to hang on a clothes line. Last year's event was dedicated to the memory of Alexandra Kogut. Police say the College at Brockport freshman was beaten to death in her dorm room by her boyfriend, Clayton Whittmore, in 2012.
