New scam targeting Netflix users

There is a new scam targeting anyone using Netflix.

Officials say the phishing scam involves displaying a phony website that is made to look like the real Netflix’s login page. When a user enters their information, the site claims the account has been suspended because of unusual activity and provides a fake customer service number.

Once you call that number, scammers convince you to download what they say is support software, but is actually software giving scammers access to your computer.

Officials say it's important to be double checking web addresses to make sure they are the real site you're looking for.
