Clothesline project at the College at Brockport

It's a place where art meets awareness. The clothesline project kicked off this week. The project helps to raise awareness about violence against women. Survivors, family and friends are able to design t-shirts to share their message. The shirts are then hung on a clothesline for display.

The event is being held at one of the campuses at the College at Brockport where back in 2012 Police say Alexandra Kogut, a freshmen was beat to death inside her dorm room by her boyfriend, Clayton Whittemore.

The project is expected to be on display until March 10.
