Assembly leaders hold town hall meeting

State assembly leaders are offering an opportunity for constituents to voice their concerns Saturday morning.

Assembly Majority Leader Joe Morelle will be holding a town hall meeting at 11 a.m. at the Irondequoit Public Safety Building, 1280 Titus Avenue, to discuss the proposed state budget with residents. That meeting will run until 1 p.m.

Minority leader Brian Kolb will also be holding his own town hall meetings to speak with constituents on a host of issues including taxes, the budget, job growth, governmental reform and Common Core.

Those meetings will be held throughout the day at the following locations and times:

9:00-9:30 a.m. – South Bristol Town Hall, 6500 Gannett Hill Rd., Naples;

9:45-10:15 a.m. – Naples Town Hall, 106 South Main St., Naples;

10:45-11:15 a.m. – Canadice Town Hall, 5949 County Rd. 37, Springwater; 

11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Richmond Town Hall, 8690 Main St., Honeoye;

12:45-1:15 pm – Bristol Town Hall, 6740 County Rd. 32, Canandaigua;

1:30-2:00 p.m. – Veterans Park, 99 Main St., Bloomfield; and

2:30-3:00 p.m. – Victor Town Hall, 85 E. Main St., Victor.
