Georgetown University investigating bomb threat

Police and Georgetown University are investigating a bomb threat at the school's Washington, D.C., campus.
The university issued an alert at 4:45 p.m. Saturday saying there was a report of a bomb threat at the bookstore in the university's student center.
The university is asking people to avoid the area.
Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Hugh Carew says the university called and reported a possible suspicious package at 4:42 p.m. The police department has sent its explosive ordinance disposal team.
