Rochester Police were called to Rochester Academy Charter School's High School on Portland Avenue Monday morning for a report of drugs in a student's locker.

Police say there was a small quantity of drugs in a 15-year-old student’s locker. Police say the drugs believed to be marijuana.

Police are still investigating. No charges have been filed at this time against the female student.

The school's principal, Mr. Mehmet Demirtas, released a statement saying, "A student was not abiding by the school's drug policy. We felt the police should be involved.  The student is not facing any charges."
