With the winter storm predicted for Wednesday, Monroe County and Livingston County have issued travel advisories for Wednesday.
The travel advisory for Monroe County is for 10:00a.m. to midnight Wednesday and the advisory for Livingston County is for 8:00 a.m. To 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. A travel advisory does not close the roads, but only suggests that hazardous travel may be encountered and motorists should use caution.
The sheriff’s office in Livingston County says the afternoon hours (1pm on), the warning in that county will change to a notice of “no unnecessary travel”, which means that hazardous driving conditions exist and no travel is recommended.
