Environmental claims against Eastman Kodak have been resolved with settlement agreements between the federal government and the company.

The settlements were announced Wednesday by the Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara in Manhattan. Kodak agrees to clean up the Rochester business park and Genesee River, the Mercury Refining Superfund site near Albany and the Fair Lawn Well Field Superfund site in Fair Lawn, N.J.

Kodak filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January 2012.

Under the Eastman Business Park and Genesee River agreement, Kodak will pay $49 million for cleanup and New York's Department of Environmental Conservation will fund additional costs up to $99 million.

Kodak will pay $2 million for the Fair Lawn cleanup and about $750,000 for the Mercury Refining site in Colonie and Guilderland
