A new announcement from United Airlines combines flying and free movies.
United Airlines has just announced that starting next month, passengers will be allowed to watch free movies and TV streaming on their laptops and Apple mobile devices while in-flight.
Passengers will have access to more than 150 movies and nearly 200 TV shows without fees attached and without having to purchase wi-fi.
In order to take advantage of the free content, users must download the latest version of the United app anytime during the flight.
The new on-board entertainment system will be installed in the majority of United’s domestic and international carriers by the end of this year.
As of now, the service is not available for Android and other mobile operating systems.
