Local reaction to Crimean Vote

Created: 03/16/2014 11:24 PM WHEC.com

We wanted to know what the local Ukrainian community thought about today’s Crimean vote.

When Elena Dilai was asked about if Russian President Vladimir Putin would stop with Crimea, she said “No he won’t. The next part will be Lugansk and Donetsk and some other eastern parts. It will not stop there. It’s not about be going to Ukraine or not going to Ukraine. It’s about the country trying to preserve its sovereignty."

Today’s vote was unanimous to break away from Ukraine and join Russia.
