A Farmington woman is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say she stole parts from the dealership she worked at and then sold them online.
Betsy C. Strickner, 41, of Farmington, is charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records.
Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies say Strickner was ordering radio units and selling them through her own EBay account while she was working as the parts manager for a dealership in the town of Avon. Sheriff’s deputies say Strickner had been ordering the items under other part descriptions to hide the theft of the radios.
Sheriff’s Deputies say Stickner had been stealing the parts over the past year and the total loss of the dealership was $140,860.
Strickner was arraigned in Avon Town Court and is being held in the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
