Members of the community broke ground on the Flourgarden in High Falls. It’s a 300 foot long new urban ecological greenway.

It’s part of a multi-phase project to revitalize the historic Genesee River, High Falls area through sustainable efforts. It’s also part of green initiative started by Governor Cuomo, which helps develop new parks throughout the state.

Officials say the Flourgarden will be completed by spring of 2015.
