News10NBC and and the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo are working together to honor the members of the greatest generation by returning its flagship Douglas C-47 to the skies over Normandy on the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

Wednesday night, Lauren Hurburt and her students from Letchworth High School's foreign language club donated $1,000 to the Whiskey 7 for the trip to Normandy.

The club starts raising money when the students enter the 7th grade to be able to travel or make various charitable donations throughout their years at school. These students will be going to Normandy in April. If you would like to donate to the return to Normandy Project. You can click here. http://www.whec.com/article/12204/
