How do you feel about having nuts in school cafeterias? According to a new survey, many parents don’t favor a ban even those with allergic children.
The University of Michigan surveyed 800 parents and found almost half of those with nut-allergic children prefer their kids eat in a lunchroom with no special seating or nut restrictions. Only 22-percent though nut products should be banned altogether.
The survey also found most parents of kids without nut allergies thought schools should offer nut-free tables for allergic children.
