A new study suggests physical activity can actually help prevent breast cancer.

Researchers reviewed more than four-million women. The results found that those who exercised more than an hour a day were 12-percent less likely to develop breast cancer than the least active women regardless of age or body mass index.

Researchers say these findings are encouraging but did note that exercise failed to improve breast cancer rates in women taking hormone replacement therapy.
