After being accused of driving drunk last week, Rochester’s deputy mayor has returned to work. The City of Rochester’s Communications Director said Leonard Redon was working Monday.

State police say they pulled Redon over on 490 near Clinton Avenue last Wednesday night. He was ticketed for DWI, speeding and having an expired inspection.

Last week, Redon gave his resignation to Mayor Lovely Warren, but she did not accept it.

City communications director Christine Christopher says this case is no longer a City Hall matter.
