There was a big announcement Wednesday morning for RIT's Golisano Institute for Sustainability.

That building has earned a LEED certification, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

They received the certification because of the wide range of "green" features in the building. Those features include solar panels, a "sunshade" system that helps cool the building and a fuel cell that is the building's primary energy source.
