The Churchville-Chili Board of Education has selected its new superintendent.

Loretta J. Orologio will replace Dr. Pamela Kissel upon Kissel’s retirement at the end of the current school year.

Orologio is not a new face to the district. She is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and has served in that position since July 2005. Prior to that, she was a principal in the Greece Central School District and an elementary principal in the Attica Central School District. Orologio began her education career in 1984 and worked as a teacher in the Perry Central School District before moving into administrative roles.

She also currently serves as a board member for the Genesee Valley Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
