Clean-up crews have been on site now for several days cleaning out debris from the water damaged Medley Centre in Irondequoit.

Two giant dumpsters were being filled outside Wednesday. This comes after the mall owners were cited by the town of Irondequoit for having combustibles in the empty mall and for failing to have a working fire suppression system. The mall was damaged after frozen sprinkler pipes burst inside. The owners have now posted a sign warning that the fire protection system has been disabled.

Representatives of the mall are scheduled to appear in court April 8 to answer the violations.
