Created: 03/26/2014 4:03 PM WHEC.com

The SAFE Act has been a controversial issue in New York since it was first signed into law. Now opponents of the law are planning a rally and some big names are on the list.

The rally is scheduled to happen in the state capitol next Tuesday April 1. Former gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino is scheduled to attend, as is real estate mogul Donald Trump.

There will be buses leaving from our area heading to the rally. News10NBC will pass along any new information about the rally as we receive it.
