Six people, arrested in connection with a triple homicide in February, have been indicted by a grand jury Friday, on drug charges.
Carlos White, 38, 25-year-old Jessica Leonard, 34-year-old Andrew Christopher McFarlane, 34-year-old Marlando Anthony Allen, 21-year-old Steve Fulcott and 46-year-old Ronald Jefferson are charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon.
Officers say they were taken into custody at an apartment on Clifford Avenue.
Investigators say when they searched the apartment they found 80 pounds of marijuana and two guns. Police believe one of the guns was used to kill Jacquelyn and Jermeliah Simmons. The two women were cousins and the mothers of small children. A third victim is Michael Nelson was also killed.
