Supporting a local family with a child suffering from cancer -- that was the goal of an event Saturday afternoon hosted by the Rochester Rams.

Six-year-old Cameron Wright is a Pop Warner football player for the Rams. He was diagnosed with a type of cancer that affects muscle tissue in the body.

At the event, “Candy for Cam”, organizers sold cups and t-shirts to help Cameron’s family pay for medical expenses.
