Improving the relationship between the Rochester Police Department and the community - that was the goal of a public safety forum held Saturday afternoon.

Both Rochester Police Chief Michael Ciminelli and Mayor Lovely Warren were on hand on Genesee Street to answer questions.

People had an opportunity to interact with officers. Some city residents expressed concerns about violence in the city.

The event was held by the Rochester Association of Black Journalists.
