The American Heart Association is calling on everyone to lace up their sneakers on Wednesday and take a 30 minute walk in honor of National Walking Day.
Doctors from the AHA say just half a hour of activity can help with circulation and reduce blood pressure, as well as lead to clearer thinking. Officials from the AHA encourage those taking part in National Walking Day to share their photos on social media using the hashtag #ahalaceup.
