Apple offers app amnesty

Created: 04/02/2014 6:55 AM WHEC.com

Did your son or daughter rack up a big bill buying upgrades in a game? Now Apple will let you request a refund for "unauthorized" in-app purchases made by a minor on your account.
How it works:
First you will need a receipt, either from your e-mail or purchase history in iTunes. Then you go to Apple’s support page and e-mail your request and receipts. Lastly, type “refund for in-app purchases made by a minor" in the details section and then you will get an email on the status of your request.
You can also change your settings to restrict or disable in-app purchases.
