There was an arraignment Wednesday in the shooting death of a Rochester man last month.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office says Howard White pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and weapons charges. He's being held in the Monroe County Jail without bail.

Police say White shot and killed John Mack last month. Investigators say Mack was found inside his home on Grafton Street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Strong Hospital where police say he died.

White is due back in court next month.
