Are you thinking about starting a business?

You could very well ask some of our local student entrepreneurs for advice.

Some 6th through 12th graders are part of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, and they're learning how to launch their own businesses.

At an event Wednesday night at the University of Rochester, they were looking for investors.

They had six minutes to make their pitch to a panel of local business men and women.

One group was selected to move on to compete for hundreds of thousands of dollars in college scholarships.

On Thursday, Janet Lomax will bring you an in depth look at these student entrepreneurs and the national program that now operates in 42 states.
