A memorial service will be held Thursday to remember a University of Rochester student whose death may be linked to a recent rash of heroin overdoses.

A memorial for 19-year-old Juliette Richard will be held at the U of R's interfaith chapel at 8:30 p.m. School officials say chaplains and University counseling center staff will be on hand after the event. Sources close to the investigation say Richard's death may be linked to a drug overdose. The U of R student was found dead in her dorm room Saturday morning. Police say they've seen a growing number of heroin overdoses on college campuses recently.
