The music teacher accused of stealing instruments from the Keshequa School District and pawning them for drugs is in inpatient care.

Danielle Conner-Willowglade was supposed to be back in court Thursday morning, but never showed up. Her attorney spoke on her behalf saying, “She's getting the assistance she so sorely needs."

Conner-Willowglade was arrested for heroin possession months ago, but allowed to keep teaching in between arrests. The superintendent said she was still on the job, because he was never made aware of Willowglade’s arrest. The New York State Education Department says a letter about Willowglade’s arrest was sent out.

News10NBC is working to find out why Willowglade was expected in court Thursday and hope to bring you more information tonight at 5 and 6.
