Due to bad weather, team officials say the Rochester Red Wings have pushed back Saturday's home opener at Frontier Field.

Director of Communications Tim Doohan says that the game against the Buffalo Bison has been moved to Sunday due to inclement weather. Doohan said in a release that the Opening Day game will now start at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, an hour later than Saturday's scheduled time and gates will open at 12:30 p.m.

Officials say they will honor tickets for Saturday's game on Sunday. If you had tickets for originally scheduled game on Sunday, you will have to exchange them for Sunday’s Opening Day game or another 2014 regular-season home game. The Frontier Field box office will be open until 4 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday starting at 9 a.m.

Saturday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on July 6.
