A driver was killed Tuesday when his car collided with a bus. Police are saying they're now searching for a third vehicle.
West Main Street between King and Genesee Streets has been shut down for hours. Traffic has been rerouted.
Police say the RTS bus was going west and a silver car was headed east. Police say a third car going west on Main Street turned onto Jefferson Avenue, cutting in front of the silver car. Police say the driver of the silver car swerved and then crashed into the bus. The driver of the silver car died at the scene.
Now police want your help finding the other car.
Police say they have security camera video from nearby businesses and they hope they can identify the third car that way.
Police and RTS say the bus was empty at the time. The bus driver is at the hospital. We don't know how badly he was hurt.
Due to the crash, RTS says bus service has been interrupted. The Thurston Road, Genesee Street and West Avenue/Chili Avenue buses will be using alternates routes because of the crash. Officials expect this to last until around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
