Have you seen the "new" Twitter? The microblogging site has tweaked its look in an effort to look and feel more like Facebook.
The profile pages include bigger photos, more user controls. In a post yesterday, Twitter officials say the redesign is aimed at making the site easier and more fun for users to express themselves.
Twitter has 241 million users and the more visual look it's rolling out is an attempt to get more people on the site who might otherwise be intimidated by the seemingly endless stream of hashtags, at-symbols and acronyms. In turn, more users will mean more ad dollars for Twitter.
