The Rochester Business Journal celebrated Wednesday the local companies whose websites go above and beyond.

Our news partners handed out awards at the Hyatt Regency Wednesday morning. The president and publisher says the Rochester Business Journal received nominations for about 200 different companies’ websites. A panel of judges from the community selected the winners. News10NBC asked one of the recipients why having a good website is so important.

Tommy Burnett, 16 Ton Marketing and Branding, said, “You got to remember that this is your calling card nowadays. A lot of people get too busy on the front end with too much information with a lot of depth as you go.”

This is the seventh year of the awards.
