McQuaid Jesuit Board of Trustees officially announced their new president on Wednesday.

Reverend Robert Reiser will be appointed as the 13th president of the Catholic school.  His predecessor, Reverend Edward Salmon, has held the presidency since 2010.

Reiser was the Assistant to the President at McQuaid Jesuit from 2004-2006 and returned as a faculty member in the fall of 2013. Prior to that, he served as the president at St. Peter’s Prep School in Jersey City, NJ.
“He inspired the community to ‘raise the bar’ at St. Peter’s Prep. The Board of Trustees has complete confidence in his ability to do the same for McQuaid Jesuit,” says Peter Rodgers, Chair of the McQuaid Jesuit Board of Trustees.

Reiser is set to be officially appointed to presidency on July 1.
