Suspicious suitcase in parking lot of Waterloo Premium Outlets found to be empty

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office confirms that a suspicious suitcase at the Waterloo Premium Outlets, was found to be empty.

Deputies say the call came in around 6:00pm for a suspicious package in the parking lot.

The eastern half of the mall was evacuated, and closed.

The Monroe County Bomb Squad was called to the scene with a robot, and found that there was no threat.

The all clear was given at 9:45pm.
