Parents, teachers and students from East High School will have a chance to weigh in on the future of their school during a public hearing Thursday starting at 6 p.m. in the school's auditorium.
The Rochester Board Of Education will present the options for the school, which is considered by the state to be persistently low achieving. Some of those options include closing the school, converting it to a charter school or allowing SUNY to provide the education for students. The City School District is required to submit its plan by the end of the month.
