Two international leaders in the deaf community visit the Rochester Institute of Technology this week.

Starting Monday, Liisa Kauppinen will speak to students in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Kauppenin, who is from Finland, is the former president of the World Federation of the Deaf.

On Friday and Saturday, the current president of the World Federation of the Deaf, Colin Allen, will give two presentations on equality for deaf people and strengthening human diversity. His visit comes as the campus holds a national LGBT conference for deaf college students known as ColorFest
