A Victor man involved in a 12-hour standoff with police has been ordered to pay $20,000. That’s according to our news partners at the Messenger Post Newspaper.
That $20,000 will go to the county for the standoff and his neighbors for the damage done to their lawns.
Ryan Whidden was also sentenced to 10 years in prison.
During the standoff, Whidden had his wife locked in a closet. Police had to use tear gas to force him out of the home.
No one was injured during the ordeal.
