Town of Greece Supervisor Bill Reilich announced Monday that the town is putting on an old fashioned Fourth of the July celebration this year. It will take place at the Greece Town Hall.

Supervisor Reilich says there are many events for families in Greece, but none that were really put on by the town to bring the entire community together.

Supervisor Bill Reilich, Town of Greece, said, “We are a large town, but we don't want to lose that small town feel and we had no annual event that the town hosted. Sure we had a Memorial Day parade, but that's hosted by the Legion Post.  This is an event the town will be actually putting on.”

In addition to the food, games and fireworks, there will be a 5K race in the morning and live music from the band, Orleans.
