Three people are recovering, including a child, after a crash in Ontario County.

Sheriff’s deputies say 74-year old Donald Wallace of Manchester was parked on the side of Armington Road in Manchester. Investigators say he was partially blocking the road and facing the wrong direction.

We're told around 2 p.m. Tuesday, another driver slammed into his car. The second car went across the road and into a tree. An 11-year-old child in the second car was taken to Clifton Springs Hospital with head and chest pain. Officials say his injuries are not life threatening. The other two people involved were treated at the scene.

Wallace was issued a ticket.
