A 26-year-old man is recovering Thursday morning at Strong Hospital after deputies say his car slammed into a utility pole and flipped over.

Wayne County officials say David Allman of Williamson was driving on Lake Road in the Town of Sodus Wednesday night when his car veered off the road. Deputies say Allman's car continued into a ditch, then flipped over and landed back in the road.

News10NBC is told Allman was rushed to Strong for injuries he sustained in the crash. Right now, deputies are investigating the cause of the crash.
