People in Ontario County will learn whether RGRTA busses will start making stops in their community.

According to our news partners at the Messenger Post, the Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote on the proposal at 6:30 p.m.  If passed, the county would end its contract with MV Transportation.

Cost is a major factor. County officials say continuing the current contract would force taxpayers to lose $1.58-million this year.

The changeover could happen as early as July 1.

UPDATE: The decision on the proposal has been pushed back three weeks, according to the Messenger Post. We will continue to track this decision and will have an update when it's available.
